Maybe I'm too tired and not reading clearly, but Tom's intro to that 996 IMS post makes it seem like the post concludes that the IMS will certainly fail:
"determined that it is not of matter of if this motor will fail, but when"
...when it seems like the article is actually saying it probably won't fail, and the market is overreacting to the possibility that it might. Am I reading it wrong?

Yep, that looks to be about right. I also didn't think the shared article itself was all that great. It pretty much just talked about the guy's reliability website or whatever and then finished the piece off by saying "yeah but you won't ever really know so go with your gut I guess".

lol dude that GT3 was way overpriced...2011 with 30k plus for 120? Shoot you could throw 20 on top and get a brand new one
